I passed a great day in the company of Dr. Corten, being able to follow his procedures and modalities of interventions accompanied by detailed explanations as wel as the use of the instruments which he was able to develop. I was very pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of the established protocol for total hip replacements using the anterior approach without traction table.

I know the anterior approach technique for total hip replacements very well and I practice it currently with the help of a positioning table. After meeting Dr. Corten however, I am enthusiastic and convinced that this way of operating, using the anterior approach for hip replacements without traction table, with the protocol determined by Dr. Corten, could be very effective and recommended. In this context, I would like to see Dr. Corten again to refine and facilitate the initiation of this protocol in my clinic in Fribourg.
